NAME

dbloc_map - draw map showing location and associated arrivals

SYNOPSIS

dbloc_map [-d overlay,...] [-e evid] [-o orid] [-p pf] database.table [orid]

DESCRIPTION

dbloc_map generates the maps displayed by dbloc2(1), which show the various locations for an event and the associated arrivals for a particular origin. This new version incorporates the idea of an overlay database table (originated by Niko Horn) which might be used to show quarry locations or other data.

When the left mouse button is pressed on an origin, a balloon pops up, showing some parameters for the origin record, and any magnitudes for that origin (from netmag).

OPTIONS

PARAMETER FILE

The parameter file allows modifying the color scheme somewhat, but is not really comprehensive.

The following describe the origins selected on the command line with the -e or -o options.

This set describes other origins, placed on the map for reference:

These parameters describe the sites displayed; sites which are associated with the selected origins (through the assoc and arrival table) are displayed filled. Unassociated sites are outlines only.
